I've played Bingo a time or two in my life and I never really saw it for what it could be. Bingo was always played at church functions or in the senior citizen's centers around where I grew up and that was all it was. The stakes never got any higher than the Afghan blanket that someone had made, or a cake and it was seen as a type of fundraiser. But that has all changed. Online casinos, as industrious as they are, have learned to capitalize on this classic game and make it that much more exciting. By non-traditional I mean non-traditional in the online gambling sense. You just don't normally come across Bingo games online, much less Bingo games online where you can wager money and win big. This is great for the small segment of online gamblers that haven't taken to the more traditional online casino games like Poker and Blackjack. Some people just don't like those games and prefer games like Bingo and its cousin, Keno. There is nothing at all wrong with this but unfortunately there have always been a lack of online casinos that cater to these players needs. While Bingo will never take over the online casino market, or even register as a blip on the radar screen of online gambling, it is a good alternative for those players that are looking for something that they can play and remember a time that is fading away.
